The Woodberry Forest Lacrosse Camp for the Summer of 2011 has officially begun! We have over 100 campers here this year from across the United States and a strong coaching staff of 15 to ensure they have a great time. The morning began with the campers and their families checking in at the Barbee Center, after which they made their way up the hill to the Dowd-Finch Dormitory to move into their rooms. Once everyone was settled, Coach Hemming gathered the entire camp on the lawn to introduce himself and the coaches, review some of the basic rules of life at Woodberry and discuss their plan for the day. With the heat advisory in effect, the campers will be staying indoors for their skill session rather than hitting the field.
